MILLER LEGG ANNOUNCES MICHAEL D. KROLL, RLA, FASLA AS PRESIDENT OF FIRM

Kroll, RLA, FASLA has been appointed by the Board of Directors as President of the firm.  Kroll has over 28 years of diverse professional experience including 25 years at Miller Legg.  Kroll is a member of Miller Legg’s Board of Directors.  He has served in numerous corporate leadership positions, led diverse multi-disciplinary projects and fostered long-term client relationships in the transportation, governmental, healthcare, education and land development markets. He is also a graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies, (ACEC) Senior Executives Institute (SEI) program, an advanced management, leadership, and public policy program.     

He has been recognized for his professional success by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) electing him as Fellow in 2014 and the University of Florida’s Distinguished Landscape Architect Alumnus Award in 2013 from the Department of Landscape Architecture. Since earning his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida in 1986, he has received over 30 professional design awards.  These award-winning projects and his diverse portfolio range from extensive habitat restoration projects to international redevelopment projects that integrate landscape architecture, planning and environmental solutions.

Kroll has had numerous leadership positions with ASLA, non-profits and advisory committees including the Florida Board of Landscape Architecture, Broward County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, and the Florida Earth Foundation.
