PEMBROKE PINES, Florida – Miller Legg, a multi-disciplined consulting firm based in Florida, recently won an Award of Excellence in the Mitigated Site/New Installation Category for design of Plantation Preserve by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA). The Award was one of 15 presented at the Awards Ceremony on October 2nd, during the FNGLA Awards Banquet held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando. The Preserve’s design program included restoration of freshwater marshes to re-establish the tree island’s original context and a linear park that symbolized an historic Tequesta trade route. The Landscape Team responsible for the award-winning design of the City of Plantation’s Park was led by Michael Kroll, RLA, and included Brian Shore, RLA, Ronald Rollins, RLA, Eric Harrison and Nelson Perez.
