PORT ST. LUCIE, FL -- Miller Legg, a multi-disciplined consulting firm based in Florida, is a part of the consulting team with FLAD Architects for the Veterans Affairs Brevard County Outpatient Clinic currently under construction in Viera. Miller Legg has successfully worked with the Veterans Affairs on two national cemeteries in Florida: the South Florida National Cemetery and the Sarasota National Cemetery. The site design work for this Viera project was managed by Daniel Davila, PE, Regional Engineering Manager at Miller Legg.
For this Outpatient Clinic, Miller Legg has designed site improvements associated with the construction of a new 30,000-square foot Clinical Addition and Chiller Plant Addition to the existing VA Brevard County Outpatient Clinic (OPC). This project is located on the existing Brevard County OPC Campus. The civil engineering services being provided to serve the new building include the following:
• design of the gravity sewer service and roof drains for new building areas
• drainage improvements
• relocation of existing potable water and fire mains
• relocation of the main electrical conduits
• grading of affected roadway/parking areas
• regulatory agency permitting
• construction period services
