FDOT District VI Districtwide Landscape Architecture
District VI, Florida
This Districtwide Landscape Architecture Contract includes numerous design and coordination services on projects throughout Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Non-design services provided by Miller Legg include: review of grant application packages, tree removal/relocation plans, corridor aesthetic analysis review, right-of-way permit application reviews, public workshop coordination and intergovernmental coordination.
Design services have included development of construction documents for landscape enhancements to four miles of Biscayne Boulevard, conceptual designs and cost estimates for enhancements of I-95 from the Broward County line to I-395, development of hardscape designs for Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami that serve as the major pedestrian-use area adjacent to Bicentennial Park, the American Airlines Arena and Bayside, as well as landscape architectural designs for the Hialeah Expressway in Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens and the Town of Medley.
