Florida Atlantic University Lee Street
Boca Raton, Florida
Miller Legg is responsible for preparation of construction plans
for a four-lane divided street and 1,600 parking spaces south
of the new Lee Street location. Services provided include
topographic surveying, tree surveys, environmental site
assessment and permitting for relocation of gopher tortoise
and burrowing owl locations.
We also performed master planning, civil engineering,
electrical engineering for street lighting, mechanical
engineering for new chilled water main plant interconnection,
landscape architecture and irrigation design plans. We
provided permitting services through South Florida Water
Management District and Lake Worth Drainage District, as
well as construction phase services. This project also required
coordination with other government agencies, including the
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
