Miller Legg is providing the full package of engineering, environmental permitting, surveying, landscape architecture and irrigation services for infrastructure development of this 1,920-acre mixed-use development located in northwestern Palm Beach County.
The project infrastructure elements include over 15 miles of roadways with a positive drainage system, over 200 acres of lakes and waterways with major stormwater pumping facilities, complete water distribution and wastewater collection systems, along with a regional utility service plant, a 200-acre natural area that serves as a "flow-way" for discharge of surface waters into the SFWMD C-18 Canal system, ultimately flowing into the natural and scenic Loxahatchee River. Over 15 miles of pedestrian and equestrian trails are included.
Environmental services being provided include:
- environmental resource and dredge and fill permitting through SFWMD & USACOE
- wetland delineation, wildlife and protected species assessments
- mitigation analysis and design
- extensive coordination with the SFWMD, USACOE, FFWCC, USFWS, EPA, and NMFS
