Project Polaris Pipeline Mapping
Statewide, Florida
We prepared an 858-mile pipeline mapping project for the Florida Gas Transmission Company. Miller Legg survey crews utilizing underground utility designation equipment and GPS receivers surveyed and mapped the gas pipeline throughout the entire State of Florida.
The pipeline was first marked by our crews and then coordinates were collected utilizing GPS receivers. Cellular modems interfaced with Trimble data collectors to e-mail the data to our corporate office for processing and CAD work.
