S-5A Boat Ramp Replacement
Loxahatchee, Florida
Miller Legg was responsible for the design, engineering,
surveying, environmental permitting, mitigation design and
monitoring for the replacement of a boat ramp at the north
end of the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife
Refuge.
Services provided include:
- roadway and boat ramp design and engineering
- topographic survey
- road cross sections and canal sections
- wetland jurisdictional determination
- mitigation design and monitoring
- site design
- permitting and coordination
This project also required extensive coordination with
numerous agencies including the US Army Corps of Engineers,
South Florida Water Management District, Florida Department
of Environmental Protection, Florida Fish and Wildlife
Conservation Commission, and the US Fish and Wildlife
Service.
