Master Planning
South Florida Area National Cemetery
Palm Beach County, Florida
The 300-acre site for the new South Florida Area National Cemetery is located in Western Palm Beach County. Miller Legg is the prime consultant that is leading the team in the development of the master planning design for the entire project and design development of the Phase I area that will provide for a 10-year period of internments.
The site's freshwater wetlands, pine flatwoods and dense understory vegetation provide for a unique palette on which the master plan is developed. In addition to design, the Miller Legg-lead team's responsibilities include all applicable permitting and engineering services.
