Commissioned by the government of St. Maarten, master planning and landscape architectural design services were provided for the Waterside Retail and Entertainment Complex located at the main cruise ship port in Phillipsburg, Netherlands Antilles. This complex supports 250,000 square feet of retail, themed restaurants and nightclubs, a casino and a 20-plex cinema.
The development, which acts as a catalyst for increased cruise ship activity, is designed to service over 600,000 visiting cruise ship passengers a year, as well as native residents.
