Miller Legg recently completed the time-zero monitoring event for the one of the largest seagrass creation projects in Florida at West Lake Park. Miller Legg designed, permitted and oversaw construction and will continue to monitor these areas annually for the next five years. Our Environmental Team members, Mark Brandenburg, Matt Dancho, Collin MacGibeny and Kevin Chaskalson assessed 379 one-square meter quadrants for seagrass growth over eight days.

Miller Legg has been working with Broward County on numerous phases of restoration at West Lake Park over the past 20 years. West Lake Park is a 1,500-acre estuarine park that sits along three miles of the Intracoastal Waterway.
