Sugar Bay Plantation Resort

Sugar Bay Plantation Resort, (formerly Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Resort) is a 300-room Wyndham Hotel located in St. Thomas, USVI. All landscape architectural design for this 30-acre resort was provided including the pool/grotto/spa complex, pedestrian walkways, waterfalls, suspension bridges, site drainage, streets and parking lots.

The Master Plan designed for the property takes into account the natural topography and vegetation in existence on the site. The buildings were strategically terraced along the sides of a hilltop to maximize oceanfront views and breezes.

This project was constructed by Centex-Rooney Construction Company of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The architectural services were provided by Archeon, Inc. of Memphis, Tennessee.
