Polo Trace Golf Preliminary Wetland Investigations and Due Diligence (for GL Homes)
Miller Legg conducted a preliminary environmental review and on-site investigation of the existing wetlands at Polo Golf and Country Club to assess potential impacts associated with planned development activities.
As part of this assessment, the firm evaluated the extent and condition of wetland areas and identified any ecological constraints that could influence project design or permitting. The team also initiated a thorough review of potential federal, state, and local regulatory requirements related to natural resource protection. This included analyzing the need for environmental permits concerning jurisdictional wetlands, the presence of protected wildlife species, and the preservation or mitigation of existing native vegetation and significant trees. The findings from this investigation were used to guide early project planning, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and minimizing ecological disruption.
